elecell has been selected for the Texas C&D Incubation Office Support Program organized by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, securing a local base at the TMC Innovation Factory, the world's largest bio cluster, and is launching a full-scale entry into the U.S. market.
elecell lnc. has been finally selected as a participating company for the 'Texas C&D Incubation Office Occupancy Support Project' under the "2026 Biohealth Global Expansion Support Project," organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI).
This project is a representative global scale-up program that supports outstanding domestic biohealth companies in securing local bases within major bio clusters in advanced global markets, such as the United States, thereby establishing a foundation for market entry and strengthening export capabilities.
elecell was recognized in this selection as an innovative medical device company with high potential for global expansion, and has established a local base office within the Texas Medical Center(TMC) Innovation Factory, the world's largest medical complex.
Through this selection, elecell will receive support for local office infrastructure for up to 4 years and 6 months, as well as customized, close support including participation in regular networking events organized by TMC Innovation Factory, the discovery of global partnerships through connections with local professional organizations in the U.S. (such as KAMA Texas), and seminars on licensing and market information for entering the U.S. market.
Recently, the elecell team attended a bootcamp and kickoff event held in Houston, USA, where they met directly with global healthcare leaders, clinical experts, and strategic mentors to design a customized support plan based on local demand.
An official from elecell (CEO Hyung-seop Han) stated, “The selection as a tenant of the TMC Innovation Factory is a significant achievement that externally recognizes our company’s technological capabilities and potential for entering the U.S. market,” adding, “Based on cooperation with local expert groups, we will successfully establish our proprietary electrical stimulation therapy technology in the U.S. market and strengthen our global competitiveness.”
